The River Recreation Park project represents the transformation of a former industrial and hazardous waste site along the Ohio River into a major public riverfront amenity.

As the first phase of development within a 63-acre site, MAC Construction delivered critical infrastructure improvements including a new boat ramp, river overlook, and greenway trailhead connection – establishing safe public access to the Ohio River while supporting long-term redevelopment of New Albany’s west end.

The project converted previously underutilized property into an accessible recreational and civic asset.
