Charlestown, IN

Completed in 2026

MAC Construction completed construction of Charlestown Commons, a new downtown entertainment and gathering park designed to serve as a central destination for community events, recreation, and public activity. Delivered through a public-private partnership under Indiana’s Build-Operate-Transfer statute, the project created a flexible outdoor space anchored by a signature performance pavilion.

The development also included open lawn areas, a pedestrian promenade, seating and gathering spaces, safety railings, retaining walls, service access, and a new backlit Charlestown sign. Together, these improvements created a welcoming downtown destination designed to support concerts, festivals, seasonal celebrations, and everyday community use.
